We have reached the final round of our sweater "ways to wear" series, just in time for a special event happening this weekend. Along with some of my closest friends and entrepreneurs, we are hosting a special Spring Style Celebration: Bubbly, Bites, and Best Friends!
In addition to free makeup and photography sessions, a flower comb station and floral arrangements for sale, and a new line of spring jewelry, Threads will represent with our new spring sweaters and scarves as well as some new home decor items. If you're in the Washington, DC/Alexandria, VA area, please consider joining us for a SUPER fun time in celebration of the change that is on its way! Details here.
But, for now, back to the clothes. I kept my look ultra casual today because I knew I was going to be moving furniture, painting furniture, photographing furniture (my day job involves furniture). Plus, it's the first sunny, dry day in literally 18 days and I really wanted to free my feet and wear sandals!
A simple trick to making even the most casual of outfits looks intentional is to layer different lengths of the same hemline. Here, for example, I am wearing our High-Low Sweater (which has a popular hemline) layered over a similarly designed high-low tank. Some soft pants, an infinity scarf and textured sandals round out the look.
If you have followed this series and I haven't yet convinced you that you need one, two, or all three of our new sweaters, then come see them in person and try them on for yourself this weekend! And if I have convinced you that you need one, two, or all three of our new sweaters, then shop them in person this weekend and avoid the shipping cost!
